Product exchanges

Kyläkauppa offers a 14-day exchange period for unused and unopened products. The right of exchange does not apply to unopened toiletries and intimate products, underwear, swimwear, bed linen, tinted paints and made-to-measure products such as fabrics cut to length or cables and wires cut to size. Items to be exchanged are to be returned to the Kyläkauppa Customer Info with the proof of purchase.

NOTE! When returning products by post or Matkahuolto, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs, the Kyläkauppa customer return number/agreement is not to be used for product returns. If you want to exchange the product by post, always contact Kyläkauppa before returning it by sending email to [email protected]

Complaints

Before returning a defective product to Kyläkauppa or to a service centre, please read the instruction manual carefully. Make sure that the product is installed correctly, that it is set up as intended and that the problem is not caused by external factors such as dirt or moisture. This will avoid unnecessary service. Any inspection fees and delivery costs will be charged for unnecessary service actions. For the best and fastest solution to your product problem, contact the manufacturer or importer directly. Often, problems with your product can be solved with the help of brand-specific support instructions. Manufacturers’ websites also provide instructions on how to use their products and solutions to problems. The manufacturer’s product support also provides instructions if the product needs to be sent for service. For some products, service is even arranged directly at the customer’s home (e.g. many larger appliances and televisions).

Faulty products are accepted at the Kyläkauppa Customer Info located near the blue entrance of the Tavarapuoti shop. Take a cash register receipt or other proof of purchase with you, it is a prerequisite for processing your claim!

If you are unable to bring the defective product to Kyläkauppa, you can also return it by post or via Matkahuolto as a customer return. For returns under guarantee, Kyläkauppa will pay the postage.
