Caravan Site Onnela

Caravan Site Onnela

The Onnela caravan site includes 313 year-round caravan pitches with electric hook-up. For the summer of 2020, there will be more than 200 new pitches with electric hook-up, and Finland’s most glorious campsite shower and toilet facilities.

Caravan pitch with electric hook-up €20 per night

Tent spot €12 per night

In the winter season, registration is at the Hotel OnnenTähti reception. The service building doors can be opened with the key card that you will receive when paying for a caravan pitch. For faster check-in, you can print out and fill the passenger card beforehand.

Beach and sauna facilities

The saunas are open every day from 9am to 12pm and from 6 to 10pm.

Dining

A Nescarte Cafe-Deli Shop serves Onnela guests during the summer season. Its selection includes cafeteria products, meals, and ice cream. The shop is licensed.

There are two barbecue spots in the area, where you can grill sausages and other foods. There is a woodshed between the saunas.

In the Kyläkauppa area, there are several restaurants serving the caravanners.

Children

In Onnela, children enjoy spending time in their own play area. There is also a lot to see and do in the Kyläkauppa area: Finland’s largest Moomin playground, the indoor playground Riemu Park, the Aku Park in the Department Store, and in the summertime, a miniature golf course and a public skate park. The highlight of summer is Miljoona Tivoli with free admission for under 13-year-olds.

Pedal cars are available to rent in Onnela for €5 per 2 hours.

Pets

The Caravan Site Onnela was selected as the most dog-friendly campsite in Finland in 2018.

For dogs, we have our own dog park. Dogs can swim in the lake at the back of the caravan site or next to Veljekset Siltala, where there is easier access to the beach. Keep your pet on a leash in the campsite area.
