Riemu Park

Riemu Park at Kyläkauppa is Finland’s biggest free indoor playground. Riemu Park is intended for children under 12 years old. It is open every day from 10am to 8pm, without any restrictions on playing time.

Riemu Park is a dream come true forevery child. It offers an adventure park full of activities: several different slides, trampolines, a multi-play field, ball cannons, a ball pit, nets, tubes and different bridges to climb on, a separate climbing wall, and many other activities. There is a separate, enclosed and padded playing area for under 3-year-olds, where the toddlers can climb, slide, and play safely.

The entrance to the playground is by Kyläkauppa’s blue entrance, through the Vesa’s Cafe cabinet, next to Spice Ice.

Rules

In order to enjoy your time at Riemu Park, we ask you to follow these rules:

• Riemu Park is intended for children under 12 years old.
• In Riemu Park, everyone plays at their own risk, and it is the adults’ duty to inform the children of the rules.
• Every child must have an adult with them at all times, responsible of them.
• In Riemu Park, you play with your socks on. All visitors, including adults, must take their shoes off when coming to the area. Anti-slip socks are available for sale at the Kyläkauppa Info Desk.
• Good hand hygiene is the basis for all cleanliness, which is why you should wash your hands before and after playing. There is also hand sanitizer available.
• There is no rush – move calmly and do not run.
• Only one person at a time on the trampoline. Wait for your turn.
• Only one person slides at a time, feet first. Make sure that there isn’t anybody standing in front of the slide. Do not climb up the slides.
• Only climb in areas intended for climbing. Do not climb on the nets or outside the playing area.
• All snacks and drinks, including chewing gum and candy, are to be enjoyed in our cafes and restaurants, not in Riemu Park. Water bottles are allowed.
• It gets warm when playing – leave your outerwear on the clothes racks or lockers. There are also lockable lockers on the Market Street.
• Play fair – do not push or bully, wait for your own turn, and do not jump the queues.
• We hope that our customers intervene in possible problems such as bullying and misuse of the playground.
